Greater Sydney Parklands is seeking public submissions for the Moore Park East landscape plan.
The plan includes a proposal for a rugby pitch and a smaller oval suited to Auskick and junior grades.
The Club and the AFL see an opportunity to reconfigure the planned rugby pitch as a multi-sport field to allow use by a wider range of community groups, including The Bats.
The proposed smaller field would have a dual-benefit of supporting growing youth participation and increasing availability of other senior-sized local facilities, such as Bat & Ball Oval.
