The UTS Australian Football Club welcomes Ben Murray Wines as the club’s official wine partner for the next three seasons.
Located in the township of Tanunda in the heart of South Australia’s iconic Barossa Valley wine region, Ben Murray Wines is a producer of high-quality, small batch wines including Rieslings, grenache, Shiraz, Rosé and Anima.
Ben Murray Wines will also take on naming rights of the Bats’ player sponsorship program – a vital initiative that supports players across all grades getting on the park each week.
Ben Murray Wines co-founder Craig Thompson is excited to be on board with the Bats in 2022.
“Ben Murray Wines is a small scale wine producer from Barossa – which as many players know is renowned for producing great wine and great footballers,” he said.
“We’re excited to be part of the Bats community for the next three years, to have our wines at matchdays and club events like Ladies’ Day, and to be supporting the Player Sponsorship Program as well.”
UTS Australian Football Club president Adrian Sibbick welcomed Ben Murray Wines’ long-term commitment to the club.
“We all know the Barossa is renowned for their wines and as a club with many expats from SA it’s great to see a partner from across the border partnering with our club,” he said.
