2023 AFL Sydney Awards

Congratulations to all Bats who got a mention on Monday night’s AFL Sydney Awards!

The first award of the night went to Ella Parker, who at 16 years old has not only been named in the AFL Sydney Team of the Year and played in the AFLW U17s Futures All Star last weekend, but was also named the AFL Sydney 2023 Rising Star. You’d be right in thinking she deserved a rest after all of that, but alas she isn’t finished yet with the Womens Premier Division Flag to be won tomorrow.

He came in knowing he’d won a flag already and the leading goal kicker for Div 3, but he certainly didn’t know he’d be getting another award on Monday. Taking home the Men’s Div 3 B&F is Mitch Thompson! He’s had an outstanding year and absolutely deserves the additions to his trophy cabinet.

See below for all the Bats who placed within the Top 10 of their divisions!
