UTS AFC Announces Talented Player Scholarship Program (“TPSP”)
20 December 2016
In a first for UTS AFC, both existing and prospective players will have the opportunity to gain sports scholarships with the University of Technology Sydney in 2017.
New UTS AFC President, Kaizaad Mehta says the TPSP provides a unique opportunity in both attracting and retaining quality players “This provides talented AFL players financial support to assist in their tertiary studies and presents UTS as a prominent choice when deciding their place of study”.
UTS AFC is entering its 18th year of partnership with UTS and the program announcement further strengthens the Club’s relationship with one of Australia’s premier Universities. “The support UTS has shown us over the years has been incredible. The Talented Player Scholarship Program not only allows us to strengthen the club for the future but also promotes UTS’s commitment to sport and it’s offering to students” Mehta said.
The TPSP is supplementary to the existing UTS Elite Athlete Program and available to all male and female students enrolled at UTS in both a full-time or part-time capacity. Prospective students are also welcome to apply with applications due to close March 6, 2017.
Applicants should email their interest to email@example.com.
